What is OfficerCircle?
A referral network that connects security agencies with guards. We make the introduction. Agencies set the pay and schedule, hire guards directly, and pay them directly.
Is it free for guards?
Yes. Creating a profile, accepting posts, and matching with agencies is always free for guards.
How much does it cost for agencies?
Starter is $39.99/month (1 post a month). Growth is $89.99/month or $899.99/year (2 posts a month, Browse Guards, and 20 matches). Team is $179.99/month or $1,799.99/year (3 posts a month that carry over, 40 matches, up to 10 match requests from guards, team logins, and more). Extra posts are $49.99, $39.99, or $29.99 depending on your plan.
How does matching work?
On Growth and Team, agencies browse guards and tap Match with a short intro. The guard accepts or declines. Once you're matched, you can message each other and both phone numbers unlock. Unanswered requests expire after 7 days and the match comes back to you.
Who pays the guard?
The agency pays guards directly. OfficerCircle never handles pay or sets rates.
Does OfficerCircle verify licenses or run background checks?
We review licenses, not backgrounds. AI reviews every guard's license and flags anything that doesn't match or looks fake, and anything it flags goes to our team for a closer look. AI can make mistakes, so every guard profile links to the state's own lookup, where it has one, and we recommend confirming each license there before you hire. We don't run background checks.
Which guards can see my post?
Guards within the reach you choose for the post: 20 miles on Starter; 10, 20, 40 or 60 on Growth; 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 or 250 on Team. Guards choose how far they'll travel too (10, 25, 50, 100 or 250 miles), so a post shows to a guard only when the job is within both. Armed and unarmed posts also require a license from the venue's state. Event staff posts only need the distance.
Where can I post jobs?
Within your plan's range of your headquarters, the address you sign up with: 20 miles on Starter and 60 on Growth, in your home state. Team posts within 250 miles and can cross state lines. The first time a Team agency posts in a new state, we ask for its agency license number for that state.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing whenever you like. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
